Emma Raducanu believes all four Grand Slams should adopt the US Open\u2019s<\/a> revamped approach to mixed doubles.<\/p>\n

The winners of the event, Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori, walked away with \u00a3740,000.<\/p>\n

Raducanu and her doubles partner Carlos Alcaraz were eliminated in the last 16 by Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula.<\/p>\n

Despite an early exit from the tournament, Raducanu would like to see more of the revamped approach to mixed doubles.<\/p>\n

“I think it would be so fun if all the slams got involved and did something similar, even if it was not the exact same format,” Raducanu said.<\/p>\n

“”I think it was a huge success. I think so many fans got involved, (with) so many people watching and tuned in.<\/p>\n

“It got a lot of attention. I think it was a great idea. And I had a lot of fun on the court playing with Carlos.”<\/p>\n

Raducanu will now turn her attention to the women\u2019s singles, where she will face a qualifier in her first round match.<\/p>\n

She will be hoping to win the famous tournament for the second time, having memorably come out on top in 2021.<\/p>\n

The world No. 35 says she has enjoyed her preparation ahead of her return to the court in New York.<\/p>\n

“I feel good overall,” Raducanu added. “I think I have been practising pretty well. I have had a good few weeks in America playing and Canada as well.<\/p>\n

“Got some matches in. Tough match with Aryna [Sabalenka] in Cincy, but it was another one to build on and was closer than when I played her at Wimbledon.”<\/p>\n
