Canelo Alvarez<\/a> has a notable world champion in his camp to prepare for facing Terence Crawford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The undisputed super middleweight world champion puts his four belts on the line against \u2018Bud\u2019 Crawford on September 13 in Las Vegas.<\/a> Crawford will step through the ropes undefeated, though faces a mountain to climb in weight having only competed as high as 154lbs. Alvarez has lost twice, though hasn\u2019t lost in the 168 ranks.<\/p>\n

Though most of the conversation has been focused on Crawford\u2019s preparation and how he is handling the jump in weight, Canelo\u2019s camp has a new addition that has fans talking.<\/p>\n

Jaron Ennis \u2013 who chased a fight with \u2018Bud\u2019 at welterweight but couldn\u2019t land it \u2013 posted a picture of himself and the Mexican icon after a sparring session.<\/p>\n

The switch-hitter from Philadelphia had been recognised at the heir to Crawford\u2019s throne, and told YSM Sports Media<\/a> years ago he believes he is better in every way.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever he thinks he can do, I can do better. Crawford was a great fighter, but it\u2019s different over here. I\u2019m faster, strong, younger, smarter, and defence way better. He\u2019s a great fighter, but with you, you got to outthink him, out-point him and outsmart him. Walk to him a little bit. Touch him, keep touching him, touch that body, and that\u2019s how you get him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ennis \u2013 who will make his own super-welterweight debut on October 11 after vacating his unified welterweight belts<\/a> \u2013 has since said that he believes the match-up is close but, like many others, leans towards Canelo due to the Mexican being bedded in at the weight.<\/p>\n
