Yves Bissouma could be on his way to Everton after rapidly falling out of favour with Thomas Frank at Tottenham Hotspur, sources have told Football Insider.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the latest edition of\u00a0Football Insider\u2019s Inside Track podcast<\/a>, senior correspondent\u00a0Pete O\u2019Rourke<\/a>\u00a0revealed what sources have told him about Bissouma\u2019s chances of leaving Spurs this summer.<\/p>\n Bissouma was left out of Tottenham\u2019s UEFA Super Cup squad<\/a> to face PSG after Frank<\/a> highlighted his repeated lateness over the course of pre-season, and fans are ready to see him moved to pastures new.<\/p>\n Everton are still lacking cover in several positions this summer and have been linked with a move for Man City\u2019s Nathan Ake<\/a>, and Football Insider sources have said that Bissouma is also on David Moyes<\/a>\u2018 radar.<\/p>\n With Bissouma<\/a> well down the pecking order and his \u201cbridges burnt\u201d at Spurs, sources have told Football Insider that Tottenham<\/a> will look to sell this summer with just a year remaining on the Malian\u2019s contract. <\/p>\n Sources have also told Football Insider that Spurs will look to recoup at least some of the \u00a325million fee they paid Brighton<\/a> for Bissouma in 2022, making any deal difficult to do for Everton<\/a> after their financial struggles.<\/p>\n Former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Tottenham have already upgraded on Bissouma<\/a> with the signing of Joao Palhinha<\/a>, and all signs point towards the exit door for the 28-year-old.<\/p>\n MORE FOOTBALL INSIDER STORIES<\/p>\n Speaking on the new Inside Track podcast<\/a>, O\u2019Rourke stated that Everton are far from the only club keen on Bissouma as his contract enters its final 12 months, and expects the Blues to pursue a cut-price deal.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are a few clubs who would look at Bissouma\u201d, he told Football Insider.<\/p>\n \u201cIt seems that he\u2019s burnt his bridges at Tottenham now, being left out of that Super Cup defeat due to disciplinary reasons.<\/p>\n \u201cSpurs will be looking to recoup part of their \u00a325million investment rather than risk losing him for nothing,\u00a0so they will be open to offers.<\/p>\n \u201cEverton are lacking cover in a number of areas \u2013 if Everton could get a good deal for Bissouma, he could be a player who makes a real impact for David Moyes\u2019 side.<\/p>\n \u201c[It\u2019s] not an easy deal to do, due to the price tag on Bissouma\u2019s head if Spurs are looking to cash in. <\/p>\n \u201cThere will be other clubs across Europe who\u2019ll be looking at Bissouma as a potential target in the final days of the window, if Spurs do put him on the market as we expect.\u201d<\/p>\n Moyes\u2019 side were woefully off the pace in their Premier League opener against Leeds, losing 1-0 with a thrown-together team which hardly threatened despite debuts for new signings like Jack Grealish<\/a>.<\/p>\n Everton were forced to play Jake O\u2019Brien<\/a> and James Garner<\/a> as makeshift full-backs, but have since strengthened out wide and are on the brink of completing the \u00a342million signing of Tyler Dibling<\/a>.<\/p>\n Further additions to Moyes\u2019 midfield in the form of Bissouma certainly wouldn\u2019t go amiss, but the Toffees
