Ellen DeGeneres shared a rare update on her new life in the U.K., over six months after she and wife Portia de Rossi moved from the United States.<\/p>\n

The talk show veteran shared a video of the couple’s idyllic new home in the Cotsworlds as de Rossi rode through villages and forests on horseback.<\/p>\n

DeGeneres was last spotted in late July with a new salt-and-pepper hair color while enjoying a date night with de Rossi in London.<\/p>\n

Over six months since she moved to the U.K. from the states<\/a>, Ellen DeGeneres is sharing a rare look at her life across the pond<\/a> with wife Portia de Rossi. The former TV personality has been busy adjusting to her new reality, including swapping out her Montecito community for a countryside escape in England and ditching her signature blonde hair<\/a> for a gray-tinged brown pixie cut<\/a>. And right before the weekend, DeGeneres shared a video of de Rossi \u201cliving her dream\u201d while exploring their idyllic new home via horseback.<\/p>\n

\u201cPortia\u2019s living her dream riding her horse through the English countryside and into the village,\u201d the veteran talk show host captioned the video, which showed a makeup-free Portia riding her horses through the woods and villages of the Cotsworlds. As Taylor Swift\u2019s \u201cAugust\u201d played in the background, the Arrested Development actress could be seen wearing her blonde hair in a tight bun, tan riding pants, brown leather riding boots, and a blue riding blazer as DeGeneres asked her, \u201cAre you going to a photo shoot?\u201d The rest of the montage included a selfie video from de Rossi as she rode on horseback with a helmet and a blue polo shirt, as well as a glimpse of the neighboring towns and forests near the couple\u2019s new home.<\/p>\n

While DeGeneres didn\u2019t make an appearance in the video, she surprised fans when she showed off a gray hair transformation<\/a> during a London outing with de Rossi in late July. The star has been slowly transitioning away from her platinum blonde pixie, pulling a beauty 180 by debuting a dark chocolate brown hue<\/a> followed by a softer teddy bear brown hair color<\/a> with some natural grays woven in. She appeared to have fully embraced her newfound silver fox status while stepping out arm in arm with de Rossi, who sported a shorter blonde bob during their appearance.<\/p>\n

It appears DeGeneres is happily embracing her new salt-and-pepper hair\u2014and even has some regrets about not doing it sooner<\/a>. In a throwback video shared on Friday, August 22, the bleach-blonde star and de Rossi could be seen riding a roller coaster. \u201cLife is like a roller coaster. It has ups and downs and in the end you look back and think- why didn\u2019t anyone tell me my hair looked like that,\u201d she reflected in the caption.<\/p>\n
