A healthcare worker has revealed the common things that he has stopped doing after working in the field – and warned about the one act that is much more dangerous than you realize.<\/p>\n

The healthcare profession, who goes by the username\u00a0@rrummel6<\/a>, shared his advice in a new video that was uploaded to TikTok<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n

He often posts about his life working in healthcare, and shares various wisdoms with his followers.<\/p>\n

The first thing that the TikToker revealed that he would never do is not wear a seatbelt.<\/p>\n

‘Very important, I used to be like one of those people who was like, “I don’t need it,'” he explained.<\/p>\n

‘You do, you need it. It’s very stupid, very dumb, very not smart to not wear it,’ he said.<\/p>\n

Next he revealed a common practice that he realized was extremely dangerous after he started working in healthcare: road rage.<\/p>\n

‘I try to hold it in, you know,’ he explained. ‘I’ve seen too many people die from road rage incidents, I don’t even honk my horn anymore.’<\/p>\n

The expert explained that you never really know who is in the driver’s seat in the car in front of you or behind you.<\/p>\n

‘They don’t care about you, I promise,’ he added.<\/p>\n

The third thing that the healthcare worker warned against was drinking with strangers.<\/p>\n

‘This may just be because I’m getting older, but I don’t go out as much as I used to,’ he explained.<\/p>\n

‘And when I do go out, if I’m gonna be drinking or anything, I’m very selective on the people I’m going to go with,’ he continued.<\/p>\n

‘If I don’t know you, it’s probably a no go for me.’<\/p>\n

He furthered that you can’t always be sure how people are going to act when they get a little alcohol in their system.<\/p>\n

Lastly, on a similar note, he shared that he will always make sure he knows how he’ll be getting home after a night out.<\/p>\n

‘I always know how I’m getting home, I always know who’s driving, I’m paying attention to who’s drinking, and the Uber is on standby at all times,’ the healthcare worker concluded.<\/p>\n

In the comments section of his TikTok video, many people seemed to agree with his tips.<\/p>\n

‘Heavy on not going out! It\u2019s not safe,’ one person wrote.<\/p>\n

Another user shared,\u00a0I’m that age of millennial where I feel extremely uncomfortable being in a moving vehicle without a seatbelt, it goes on before I start the vehicle or during, some people a few years older than me not so much.’<\/p>\n
