Micah Richards<\/a> danced like there was no tomorrow as he relished every moment of a former team-mate’s DJ set at Reading Festival.<\/p>\n

Footage shows the former Manchester City<\/a> and England star bursting onto the scene with a bottle of Jagermeister as he worked his way through the crowd on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Once at the front, Richards let rip with some frenetic dance moves and within seconds was making friends with seeming strangers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Decked out in a black shirt and sunglasses, the popular pundit linked arms with a chap in an Arsenal<\/a> shirt, and another topless reveller, and started bouncing around wildly. His newfound crowd looked surprised at first but quickly grew into their bond.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Richards had turned up to enjoy the festival debut of none other than Joleon Lescott, who also won the Premier League<\/a> with City and played for England.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The duo shared the pitch 100 times during their careers but this was a completely different type of partnership.<\/p>\n

Lescott beamed and pointed at Richards as he spotted his old friend in the front row and hypnotised him with his beats.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A two-time Premier League winner, Lescott’s father was also a DJ and he has been working on his passion for years, with plans to make it a full-time gig.<\/p>\n

House music is his jam and on Sunday at 6pm, he was given the chance to show what he can do at the\u00a0Jagermeister Stage.<\/p>\n

The crowd appeared to love it, as people bounced around with their arms in the air while he jockeyed the discs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He told The Rest Is Football last year: ‘Yeah, that is a thing, real ambition to do [a DJing career].<\/p>\n

‘I had some gigs in the summer but when you get this call from a friend who says “do you want to be part of the England set-up?” I kind of had to park it.<\/p>\n

‘But, yeah, I still train. It\u2019s the closest thing I have to playing, in terms of the feeling it gives me.<\/p>\n

‘House now, like deep house and stuff.<\/p>\n

Lescott, a former Man City defender, has been working on his DJing passion for years\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lescott won two Premier League titles with Manchester City and played 26 times for England<\/p>\n

Last year he said his ambition was to be a full-time DJ, but work with England was his priority<\/p>\n

He had a very successful career, making\u00a0614 appearances over the course of his career<\/p>\n

‘So, you kind of have to recognise what most of the younger generation listen to.<\/p>\n

‘I grew up on garage but there\u2019s not many people listening to that now.’<\/p>\n

Lescott is a big name in English football, having made 614 appearances across his career for Man City, Everton, Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa, Sunderland, and AEK Athens.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He also turned out 26 times for England.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since retiring, he has been a coach with the England under-21s in Lee Carsley’s set-up and followed him to the senior side when Gareth Southgate left.<\/p>\n

Since retiring aged 34 in 2017, he has made no secret of his passion for DJing, showing off various nights he has played at on social media.<\/p>\n
