Hull KR head coach Willie Peters has spoken on a range of matters, including the future of one of the club\u2019s half-backs.<\/p>\n

Danny Richardson is currently out injured, however, the Robins have loaned him to York Knights for the remainder of the season with that deal being processed ahead of the Championship transfer deadline.<\/p>\n

Richardson\u2019s loan move to York was confirmed in early August<\/a> despite the fact that the playmaker was carrying an ankle injury at the time, an issue he sustained in the Round 18 loss against Leigh Leopards.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s still not featured for York but is expected to be for the club\u2019s play-off run as they seek to lift the Championship Grand Final but there could be more information to come regarding the former St Helens man.<\/p>\n

At the time, Peters confirmed it was a move \u201cuntil the end of the season on loan and potentially longer\u201d<\/a>, and when speaking to the press today, Peters confirmed that there could be an update on the half\u2019s future soon.<\/p>\n

The Hull KR boss said: \u201cWe will speak about Richo but at this stage, he\u2019s going to be with York for the rest of the year, but we\u2019ll get something out around Richo, whether he\u2019s with us or not (in 2026), over the next couple of weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hull KR won\u2019t stand in way of Salford loanees<\/p>\n

Richardson isn\u2019t the only Hull KR player out on loan at present with three players out at Salford including recent signing Rowan Milnes.<\/p>\n

Milnes was re-signed by Hull KR before immediately being sent out on loan to Salford Red Devils<\/a> and Peters explained the thinking of that, whilst also confirming that the playmaker will not be a Robin in 2026.<\/p>\n

Rovers\u2019 boss explained: \u201cRowan wants to get a contract for next year. It\u2019s important that Rowan does get a contract. He knows that we can\u2019t have him on board next year and he\u2019s fully aware of that.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s pretty much playing for a contract and it\u2019s important that he goes out and plays and he\u2019s playing Super League. Rowan\u2019s a Super League player, I believe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hull KR retain the right to recall Milnes and their other Salford loanees, Louix Gorman and Leon Ruan, though both are expected to remain with the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

Asked if those loans would be extended, Peters responded: \u201cWe\u2019d like to. I\u2019m sure that they\u2019ll get asked, and we won\u2019t stand in their way.\u201d<\/p>\n

In terms of players arriving at Craven Park ahead of Thursday\u2019s transfer deadline, Peters wasn\u2019t expecting anything but he did admit that situations can change rapidly.<\/p>\n

On that, Peters said: \u201cAt this stage we don\u2019t (expect any additions). Who knows what happens in two days, but no, at this stage we don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
