Oscar Branning<\/a> (Pierre Moullier<\/a>) has been arrested following his attack on Patrick Trueman<\/a> (Rudolph Walker<\/a>) in EastEnders \u2013 as one of the soap\u2019s most grizzly deaths was revisited.<\/p>\n Tensions ran high in the Trueman household following Oscar\u2019s bold admission<\/a>, something which caused Patrick to spiral.<\/p>\n He quickly began to suffer another panic attack, as the family rushed in to his aid.<\/p>\n Son Anthony (Nicholas Bailey) was furious to learn the truth, and Jack Branning<\/a> (Scott Maslen<\/a>) had to stop him from lashing out.<\/p>\n He was determined that the police should be involved, and couldn\u2019t believe that Patrick was more than happy to sit back and contemplate his next moves.<\/p>\n But who did report Oscar? Here\u2019s a recap\u2026<\/p>\n What happened to Patrick in EastEnders?<\/p>\n Oscar become concerned for the safety of his family, when thuggish former pal Fat Mike (Tai Hilferink) threatened them. He would only stop if he handed over 5k.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t Sister Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) discovered his dilemma and returned early from maternity leave to flog a few cars and get an advance on her wages.<\/p>\n Later that night,\u00a0she paid Mike off.<\/a><\/p>\n Of course, Oscar didn\u2019t know that, and broke into the Trueman house to\u00a0foolishly steal Patrick\u2019s betting shop winnings<\/a>. He was caught in the act, and in a desperate attempt to evade his identity being revealed, pushed the pensioner to the floor.<\/p>\n Who knew about Oscar\u2019s foolish act?<\/p>\n The first person to find out was Lauren, with neither of the siblings aware that someone very close to Patrick had also clocked on.<\/p>\n Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson), as the first person on the scene following Patrick\u2019s attack, had Oscar\u2019s ankle tag.<\/p>\n He later blackmailed them both for the stolen money. Lauren refused to allow him to manipulate them, arguing that he had absolutely no evidence that\u00a0her brother was responsible.<\/a><\/p>\n \t\t \t\t Howie was determined to prove them wrong, and presented them with some evidence \u2013 the balaclava and clothes that Oscar was wearing when he committed the burglary.<\/p>\n At the end of last week, a guilt-ridden Oscar knocked back some booze and admitted all to his uncle Jack.<\/p>\n He faced quite the dilemma, as his partner Denise Fox<\/a> (Diane Parish<\/a>) is effectively Patrick\u2019s surrogate daughter. <\/p>\n But she\u2019d been in a similar predicament once before \u2013 when she became entwined in Keanu Taylor\u2019s (Danny Walters) murder<\/a> \u2013 and knew that she couldn\u2019t allow Oscar to throw his life away.<\/p>\n Who reported Oscar to the police?<\/p>\n It\u2019s not exactly clear.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t The most obvious culprit would be Anthony, or possibly Kim Fox (Tameka Empson), who was suspicious of Howie\u2019s lack of compassion towards Patrick.<\/p>\n Of course, she\u2019s still blissfully unaware that her partner got his hands on Patrick\u2019s winnings and used it for his own gain, or the fact he\u2019s worried about Oscar going to prison and the truth outing.<\/p>\n Another person who has been less than impressed with his behaviour is Peter Beale<\/a> (Thomas Law<\/a>). He\u2019s been determined to get rid of him ever since he arrived in July, and his decision could\u2019ve been influenced by mum Cindy<\/a>\u2019s (Michelle Collins<\/a>)\u2026<\/p>\n Cindy digs up the past to shame Oscar<\/p>\n In tonight\u2019s episode, Peter turned to his mum for advice after learning about Oscar\u2019s criminal ways.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t She dripped poison in her son\u2019s ear about how the teen\u2019s presence has only made their home life more difficult, and how Lauren seemed reluctant to put her brother on the straight and narrow.<\/p>\n Cindy didn\u2019t stop there with her meddling \u2013 she then caught up with Anthony and began to tell him about Oscar\u2019s father Max<\/a> (Jake Wood<\/a>).<\/p>\n A low blow for her, given she was \u2018dead\u2019 when he lived on The Square!<\/p>\n She knows about Max\u2019s involvement in her eldest son Steven\u2019s (Aaron Sidwell) death, and reckons Oscar\u2019s a chip off the old block.<\/p>\n Could Anthony have reflected on Steven\u2019s death and reported Oscar?<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tFollow Metro Soaps on WhatsApp and get all the latest spoilers first!\t\t\t<\/p>\n Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers?
