Fiona Phillips’ husband has shared a heartbreaking admission regarding the former GMTV host as she continues her fight against early-onset Alzheimer’s<\/a>.<\/p>\n The ITV personality received her devastating diagnosis back in 2022 when she was just 61 years old. Now aged 64, she receives round-the-clock care from her 66-year-old spouse Martin Frizell, who previously worked as an executive producer on This Morning<\/a>.<\/p>\n During a BBC interview with Newsnight’s Victoria Derbyshire <\/a>earlier this year, Martin revealed: “I don’t think Fiona’s ever going to be able to taste a glass of wine again, walk on a beach properly again, go on holiday again, go to the theatre, go to the cinema, drive her car, cook a meal for her children.<\/p>\n “And my worry is, on her deathbed whenever that may come and hopefully a long time from now, will she even know who we are? There’s no remission for Alzheimer’s.”<\/p>\n The couple have just published their memoir Remember When, which documents Fiona’s ongoing health struggle, reports the Express<\/a>.<\/p>\n Following the book’s climb to number one on the Sunday Times Bestseller list, Martin shared another poignant message on Instagram.<\/p>\n He posted: “I’m sitting under a pink awning hence the colour of the Sunday Times Bestsellers list – the chart everyone wants to be on.
