Hey Subscribers,<\/p>\n

As promised, here\u2019s the second newsletter for today. It\u2019s packed with transfer news and exclusives, involving Filippo Fiorelli, Biniam Girmay, Noah Hobbs, Dorian Godon, Owain Doull and many more riders, but first a message on what\u2019s next for the Substack\u2026.<\/p>\n

This time last year, the Substack was only two months old. We had just covered our first Tour de France (remotely), and I had no immediate plans to attend any races or events. That changed in the winter when I went to Rouleur Live and a few training camps. Once 2024 turned to 2025, the season sped by: more training camps in January, Etoile de Bess\u00e8ges, Volta ao Algarve, Tirreno-Adriatico, a host of Spring Classics, a week at our first Grand Tour in the Giro d\u2019Italia, and then 15 days at the Tour de France. None of that race coverage would have been possible without your support. \ud83e\udef6<\/p>\n

Post-Tour, it would be very easy to relax and cover the rest of the season from home, but where\u2019s the fun in that, especially when so much racing still lies ahead? I strongly believe in giving every loyal subscriber good value for money – it\u2019s ultimately your support that keeps the wheels turning on the Substack, so I\u2019ve decided to hit the road again.<\/p>\n

Next month, I\u2019ll be at the Tour of Britain Men for Geraint Thomas\u2019 final race, followed by my first ever trip to the European Championships in France, where I\u2019ll cover all the racing from juniors to elites, across both men\u2019s and women\u2019s categories. It\u2019s my first major championship since Yorkshire 2019!<\/p>\n

From there, I\u2019m also planning a trip to Italy to cover a few of the final one-day races that lie on the calendar, culminating in Il Lombardia. Come November, I\u2019ll aim for the Monaco Beking 2025, another venture to Girona for some off-season interviews, before a new round of training camps in December.<\/p>\n

And while that\u2019s all happening, I\u2019m already thinking about 2026 and how to improve and expand the Substack. This has been the first full year of coverage, and there\u2019s been a lot firsts – first races, first tech stories, first year of indepth cycling transfer analysis, and while many elements of coverage have worked really well, some need tweaking, but I\u2019m 100% committed to Substack for next season and using your support to help improve and develop what we\u2019ve built together over the last 14 months or so. This still feels like the beginning of the journey.<\/p>\n

What that means in terms of breadth or depth of coverage for 2026, I don\u2019t yet know, but I\u2019ll be testing a few new features in the coming weeks and months, as well as listening to any feedback from the subscribing community. Please, take that as an open invitation to reach out and offer friendly advice or constructive criticism, because as a team of just one, I appreciate every email and every bit of help.<\/p>\n
