Jonas Vingegaard<\/a> has had an excellent start to the Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a<\/a>. The Dane from Visma | Lease a Bike was not deterred by a crash and won the second stage, then finished third the following day. Is there anyone who can beat him? Johan Bruyneel<\/a> sees Vingegaard as superpowerful in the first week and predicts a tough time for the competition.After his victory at the first mountain finish, Vingegaard was again impressive by finishing third in the difficult third stag<\/a>e. UAE remains absent, also in stage 3: “They were too far behind”<\/p>\n

The main rivals normally come from UAE Team Emirates – XRG, but in stages 2 and 3, Jo\u00e3o Almeida and Juan Ayuso were virtually invisible. They were particularly far back on Monday. “In my opinion, they were too far back, which is not a good sign. Normally, you have to finish tenth or fifteenth. Bernal, for example, was riding in the top 10. It was a bit more difficult than expected, but they were too far behind. They took a risk; they could easily lose 10 seconds here.”<\/p>\n
