\n PureGym, the UK\u2019s largest gym operator, will open a new facility in Whitehaven at 12pm September 26.\n<\/p>\n
\n Located on The Bridges Retail Park, next to B&M, PureGym Whitehaven will provide members with access to flexible, affordable fitness – all through its flagship low-cost, zero-contract memberships.\n<\/p>\n
\n Advancing PureGym\u2019s mission to inspire a healthier nation, the c. 8,000 sq. ft gym will supply members \u00a0with access to everything they need to achieve their fitness potential and enhance their overall wellbeing, including:\n<\/p>\n
\n \u2022 A range of state-of-the-art equipment\n<\/p>\n
\n \u2022 A functional zone, free weights area, fixed resistance, cardio equipment, and a fitness studio\n<\/p>\n
\n \u2022 A range of classes, all included within the membership price\n<\/p>\n
\n \u2022 Certified PTs available to support clients and a free initial exercise induction\n<\/p>\n
\n \u2022 Free parking on site\n<\/p>\n
\n It is hoped the new gym will drive footfall to the retail park and it is expected to create six new jobs.\n<\/p>\n
\n PureGym is also on the lookout for people who want to turn their passion for fitness into a career through the PureGym Personal Training Academy. The programme equips candidates to become certified PTs in just 14 weeks.\n<\/p>\n
