An unexpected Walford local has set the record straight with vile Joel Marshall<\/a> (Max Murray<\/a>) in EastEnders.<\/p>\n The teen just seems to be getting worse and worse.<\/p>\n And, if reports are to be believed, the storyline will mirror events of Netflix smash hit Adolescence<\/a> this autumn, with the BBC<\/a> lining up a spin-off documentary featuring \u2018Enders cast members<\/a> to coincide.<\/p>\n In tonight\u2019s episode, Joel continued to drip vile poisonous ideologies into his na\u00efve mate Tommy Moon<\/a>\u2019s (Sonny Kendall<\/a>) ear.<\/p>\n The lads were soon approached by Lily Slater<\/a> (Lillia Turner<\/a>) and Amy Mitchell<\/a> (Ellie Dadd<\/a>), and he launched a vicious verbal attack, branding the girls \u2018the next generation of fishwives.\u2019<\/p>\n Joel proceeded to tear strips off Lily for being a young mum, and Amy squared up to him.<\/p>\n He then called them both \u2018slappers\u2019, before picking up a chair and smashing it off the wall. Tommy prevented Joel from going any further, before mum Kat<\/a> (Jessie Wallace<\/a>) dragged him out.<\/p>\n She made sure to give the teen a piece of her mind \u2013 and she wasn\u2019t alone.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t As Joel stood shamed in the cafe, Marie Evans (Liz Sweet) chipped in too!<\/p>\n What has Joel done in EastEnders?<\/p>\n The vile teen has been at the cause of several scandals since he arrived earlier this year.<\/p>\n He\u2019s been prevented from returning to his home in Australia after\u00a0upskirting a pupil in his class<\/a>, with dad Ross (Alex Walkinshaw) paying her family $50,000 in exchange for their silence.<\/p>\n Within weeks of joining Walford High he\u2019d filmed himself having sex with Avani Nandra-Hart<\/a> (Aaliyah James<\/a>) and impregnated her<\/a>, and introduced Tommy to pornography.<\/p>\n He then showed his pal a disgusting social media influencer who degrades women.<\/p>\n Joel thought this was an appropriate way to talk about the opposite sex, branding his own mum a \u2018slapper\u2019 in a conversation about their estrangement.<\/p>\n He also sexually assaulted a passenger on the London Underground in an utterly vile move, with\u00a0Vicki paying off the victim.<\/a><\/p>\n \t\t \t\t More recently he\u2019s shared Stacey Slater<\/a>\u2019s (Lacey Turner<\/a>) SecretCam content online, and attempted to slap Avani for having an abortion.<\/p>\n Vicki knew she had to put a stop to it<\/a>, but in retaliation, he asserted that if she pushed him further, she\u2019d find out that a \u2018proper slapping would do [her] the world of good.\u2019<\/p>\n What did Marie say to Joel?<\/p>\n She\u2019s been at the heart of the Bridge Street Cafe for 25 years, and during that time she\u2019s said very little.<\/a><\/p>\n There\u2019s nothing I love more than championing the hard work of our favourite EastEnders who play a smaller role in the Walford community \u2013 they\u2019ve been\u00a0in the back of shots<\/a>\u00a0for decades, cementing the fictional world as a real place.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t\t\tFollow Metro Soaps on WhatsApp and get all the latest spoilers first!\t\t\t<\/p>\n Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers?
