Throughout his career in boxing, Jake Paul has continuously received criticism from Matchroom boxing promoter Eddie Hearn.<\/p>\n

Last week it was shockingly announced that Jake Paul<\/a> will take on WBA world lightweight champion Gervonta Davis<\/a> in a huge super fight on November 14.<\/p>\n

The fight came as a shock not only because of the huge step up in opponent for \u2018The Problem Child\u2019, but because he was seemingly locked into talks to take on Anthony Joshua<\/a> in a mega fight.<\/p>\n

Despite booking to fight \u2018Tank\u2019, soon after, the 28-year-old hinted that a potential fight against Joshua is not completely dead and buried<\/a>, hinting that he will fight him in 2026.<\/p>\n

Although Matchroom boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has always been relatively critical of Paul\u2019s involvement in the sport, he was clearly open to negotiating a potential fight against Joshua<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And with \u2018The Problem Child\u2019 having picked the undefeated \u2018Tank\u2019 instead of waiting for a potential fight against the former heavyweight champion, former champion Carl Froch believes Hearn and Joshua have been \u2018hustled\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cJake Paul has played an absolute f\u2014\u2014 blinder, he got Eddie Hearn hook line and sinker,\u201d Froch said on his YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cEddie Hearn took the bait, gave him his free publicity\u2026 Thinking this would be big money\u2026 Jake Paul just ripped the a\u2014 out of Eddie Hearn\u2026 Eddie has been played in my opinion, Jake Paul has played a blinder, he\u2019s proper lured him in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Froch has always been extremely critical of Paul and has openly labeled his fights as \u2018clown show\u2019 fights.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think the fight between AJ and Jake Paul is gonna happen, I really don\u2019t, Jake Paul is stupid but he ain\u2019t that stupid,\u201d Froch continued.<\/p>\n

Will a fight between Paul and Joshua still happen?<\/p>\n

According to Froch, a fight between Paul and Joshua is completely out of the realms of possibility, however, as \u2018The Problem Child\u2019 has always shown, he consistently proves doubters wrong.<\/p>\n
