{"id":99725,"date":"2025-08-29T00:07:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-29T00:07:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/99725\/"},"modified":"2025-08-29T00:07:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T00:07:09","slug":"dean-hadley-hull-kr-forward-signs-contract-extension","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/99725\/","title":{"rendered":"Dean Hadley: Hull KR forward signs contract extension"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Dean Hadley has extended his Hull Kingston Rovers contract to the end of the 2027 season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The 33-year-old forward has been a key driver behind the Robins&#8217; rise to lead Super League this season and is a big favourite of fans at Craven Park despite having <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/rugby-league\/49149806#:~:text=Hull%20KR%20have%20signed%20Dean,with%20England%20Knights%20last%20season.\" class=\"ssrcss-k8mrr8-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">arrived from fierce rivals Hull FC<\/a> five years ago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">He <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/rugby-league\/articles\/cwypwd69j38o#:~:text=Hull%20KR%20have%20agreed%20a,end%20of%20the%202026%20season.\" class=\"ssrcss-k8mrr8-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">signed a contract extension<\/a> to the end of next season in January, but his performances this season have led the Robins to tie him down for a longer spell.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Hadley has 28 tries in his 129 appearances for KR, and his work-rate and attitude have made him a key warhorse for Willie Peters&#8217; team, helping them to their first major trophy for 40 years this summer when they <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/rugby-league\/articles\/cn4qdpnq32wo#:~:text=Hull%20KR%20showed%20their%20title,of%20Tom%20Davies&#039;%20late%20try.\" class=\"ssrcss-k8mrr8-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">beat Warrington Wolves <\/a>to lift the Challenge Cup at Wembley.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Peters <a href=\"https:\/\/hullkr.co.uk\/news\/hadley-re-signs-with-hull-kr-until-the-end-of-2027\" class=\"ssrcss-k8mrr8-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told the club website, external<\/a>: &#8220;We recently extended Dean&#8217;s contract by an extra year, but felt Dean is still at the top of his game and has proven he&#8217;s an integral part of what we do both on and off the field.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;We wanted to acknowledge that with another year.
