It looks like Amaya Espinal<\/a> and Bryan Arenales, the winners of Love Island USA<\/a> season seven, are no longer coupled up. In an Instagram story posted on Wednesday, Espinal announced the breakup to her \u201cpapayas,\u201d writing, \u201cBryan and I are no longer together. After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys. Our visions didn\u2019t align and relationships are suppose to be a team sport.\u201d In true Amaya Papaya fashion, she left us with some telling words of wisdom: \u201cYou don\u2019t have to drink the whole sea to know it\u2019s salty.\u201d<\/p>\n Arenales also posted a statement via Instagram Story on Wednesday, writing, \u201cAs many of you already know, Amaya and I have decided to go our separate ways. Unfortunately, we were not on the same page and that is okay. We have both gained clarity that we are on different paths right now. I am thankful for the time we have spent together and I wish her nothing but the best moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n Before either of them had broken the news, Espinal\u2019s social-media activity all but confirmed there was trouble in paradise. In the past week, she reposted some breakup-related videos on TikTok, including one<\/a> about \u201chow it feels when you know you have to leave him alone\u201d and an edit<\/a> from the show Scandal that says, \u201cWhen I finally pick myself back up and never let my walls down like that again.\u201d Back in July, there were rumors that Arenales had cheated on our dear Amaya Papaya, but the two shut down any speculation by posting a video<\/a> set to Lana Del Rey\u2019s \u201cYoung and Beautiful.\u201d \u201cWhen everyone thinks you\u2019re over, meanwhile this is us,\u201d Arenales wrote.<\/p>\n Amaya and Bryan have unfollowed each other pic.twitter.com\/Oow2AlEkFT<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 \u2133 (@milieledger) August 25, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n They touched on the alleged infidelity during the Love Island USA reunion, which was filmed on August 12. Arenales admitted he \u201chad a lapse in judgment\u201d after a video of him speaking to other women circulated on TikTok. While the couple seem to have hashed that particular incident out, we still don\u2019t know what led to their ultimate breakup \u2014 or when exactly it happened. On Monday, hours before the episode aired, TMZ<\/a> reported that the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram. Their last posts together were published on August 14 during their joint appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.<\/p>\n There hasn\u2019t been much luck with season seven\u2019s remaining couples \u2014 Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia are rumored to have broken up, too, with People<\/a> reporting that the pair had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
