Michigan State basketball took out Toledo on Tuesday in convincing fashion, 92-69, and earned their 10th win of the season. Now, an annual contest against Oakland is on deck for the Spartans, who will face off with the Golden Grizzlies inside of Little Caesars Arena on Saturday.
The Spartans practiced on Thursday, and following the practice, Tom Izzo spoke to the media and talked about his program.
Izzo talked about his good friend Greg Kampe, and the craziness that Oakland causes Michigan State with funky zones and exotic offense. Aside from the game, Izzo talked about practice strategy and what MSU is addressing internally to make sure they continue improving on their hot start. Most importantly, Izzo talked about the Christmas sweaters that they will be wearing on Saturday.
