A months-long investigation into organized retail theft has led to an arrest and the recovery of stolen Amazon packages in Fresno, police said on Thursday.
The investigation began in August after Amazon employees reported that a third-party delivery driver failed to deliver packages and did not return them to the Amazon facility.
According to Fresno PD, an internal audit revealed that thefts began in January 2025 and totaled more than $4,500 in stolen packages.
Detectives identified a suspect and served a search warrant Thursday morning at a location near North Seventh Street and East Shields Avenue.
