Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in downtown Los Angeles early Friday morning.
The incident was reported around 3:30 a.m. near Gladys Avenue and East 8th Street, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers initially responded to a call of a man with a gun, but details about what led to the shooting were not immediately available.
