The San Francisco 49ers and Tito’s Handmade Vodka are teaming up to launch Passes for Paws, a cause-driven campaign dedicated to supporting nonprofits that promote animal wellbeing. This year’s beneficiary is the Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV). Through this initiative, every passing yard the 49ers accumulate this season will directly benefit dogs and cats in need of loving homes. For every yard, Tito’s will donate $5 to the Humane Society Silicon Valley.
The potential impact is powerful! During the 2024 season, the 49ers recorded 4,424 passing yards. At $5 per yard, that would equal an incredible $22,120 donated to help animals find their forever homes.
“We’re so grateful to Tito’s Handmade Vodka and the San Francisco 49ers for including Humane Society Silicon Valley in the Passes for Paws program. This will not only help to support our life-saving programs, but it will also help us rebuild after the devastating fire that impacted our facility in December of last year, ensuring we can continue serving our community and the animals and people who depend on us,” said Nancy Willis, Vice President of Strategic Growth, Humane Society Silicon Valley.
Fans can follow along all season as the 49ers rack up passing yards and Tito’s turns big plays into big impact for adoptable dogs and cats across the Bay Area.
“At Tito’s, we’ve always believed in making a positive impact in the communities we serve, and supporting animal nonprofits through our Vodka for Dog People program has long been close to our hearts,” said Brian Herlihy, Field Sales Director at Tito’s Handmade Vodka. “We’re excited to team up with the 49ers on Passes for Paws and can’t wait to see how every yard gained this season helps more pets find the loving homes they deserve.”
