It wasn’t pretty, but Michigan State found a way to come out victorious in a non-conference battle against Oakland from the Motor City on Saturday.
The game never really felt in doubt, but Michigan State also never really pulled away in a 79-70 victory over Oakland on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans never trailed in the second half but also never led by more than 12 points during this matchup from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

With the victory, Michigan State improves to 11-1 overall and will now be off for the next nine days. The Spartans will next play on December 29 against Cornell in their final regular season non-conference game.
