Man barricaded in South Sacramento home, wanted in relation to possible shooting

(FOX40.COM) — A man in South Sacramento has barricaded himself in a home Sunday afternoon, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

The barricade began before 12:20 p.m. on Fieldpoppy Circle.

SCSO said the suspect is wanted in relation to a possible shooting that happened on Saturday.

A SWAT team has been called to the location of the barricade.

It is currently unknown if the man is armed.
