Bakersfield PD searches for at-risk runaway missing teen

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating an at-risk missing runaway 16-year-old boy.

Police said Gilberto Ambriz was last seen Dec. 19 in the 8700 block of Bald Mountain Court in east Bakersfield around 11 p.m. He is considered at risk due to this being his first time to have run away.

Police describe Ambriz as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what he was last wearing.
