BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — One person is dead after a crash involving a semi truck carrying fuel near Mojave Sunday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 8 p.m. on Highway 58 near Exit 172.
CHP said a vehicle was driving erratically when it crashed into a semi truck carrying fuel. The fuel then spilled out onto the roadway, causing a hard closure on the highway.

All lanes are now open, according to CHP.
