35-year-old man killed in triple shooting in central Fresno identified

The man who was shot and killed in central Fresno over the weekend has been identified as 35-year-old Mariano Cabrera.

The shooting happened Sunday afternoon at the Pleasant Village Apartments on Pleasant and Fedora avenues.

Authorities say a man pulled up to two other men, and that’s what led to shots being fired.

Cabrera and two others were hit by gunfire and rushed to Community Regional Medical Center.

The man died from his injuries. The others are recovering in the hospital.

Authorities say the woman was an innocent bystander who was taking the trash out when the shooting happened.

Police are still searching for the gunman as the investigation continues.
