CHP Probes Pedestrian-Involved Crash on East Roberts Lane
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (Dec. 23, 2025) — Authorities are investigating a crash in Bakersfield that involved at least two people struck in a pedestrian accident on East Roberts Lane Monday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported shortly after 6 p.m. in the 200 block of East Roberts Lane near Hart Street. CHP officers and Kern County Fire Department personnel responded and were observed at the scene.
When news crews arrived, no pedestrians were visible in the roadway. Officials have not released information regarding the number or severity of injuries, and the condition of those involved remains unknown.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are under investigation.
