FBI offers $50,000 in rewards to locate Sacramento County man wanted for murder and his missing children

KIDS BACK HOME SAFELY. IT’S JUST BEEN REALLY DIFFICULT. THERE’S BEEN LIKE, JUST A ROLLER COASTER OF EMOTIONS. IT’S BEEN NINE MONTHS SINCE DONBAS DIAS DAUGHTER, ANGELICA BRAVO, WAS KILLED AND HER TWO CHILDREN WENT MISSING. REALLY DIFFICULT TO FULLY, LIKE, GRIEVE BECAUSE THERE IS THAT PIECE OF, YOU KNOW. ATHENA. MATEO. STILL MISSING. WEDNESDAY, SACRAMENTO POLICE GOT AN ARREST WARRANT FOR 39 YEAR OLD CAMERON LEE, WHO IS NOW SUSPECTED OF KILLING THE MOTHER OF HIS CHILDREN. THE TRUTH IS, IS COMING OUT RIGHT NOW, AND THAT’S WHAT’S REALLY IMPORTANT. 28 YEAR OLD ANGELICA BRAVO’S BODY WAS FOUND AT HER NORTH SACRAMENTO HOME LAST JULY. WITH NEW LEADS AND DEVELOPMENTS, WE’RE ABLE TO NOW CLASSIFY THAT DEATH AS A HOMICIDE. SINCE THEN, LEE, ALONG WITH THEIR CHILDREN, FOUR YEAR OLD ATHENA AND THREE YEAR OLD MATEO, HAVE BEEN MISSING. TRY NOT TO FOCUS ON YOU KNOW. WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG? THAT’S ALSO BEEN VERY FRUSTRATING FOR US. OF COURSE, WE JUST WANT TO MOVE FORWARD, AND WE WANT TO FIND THE KIDS AND BRING THEM HOME. LEE WAS LAST SEEN DRIVING A HONDA PASSPORT INTO MEXICO, AND POLICE FOUND THE EMPTY CAR DAYS LATER. WE DON’T HAVE ANY REASON TO BELIEVE THAT THEY’RE IN DANGER, BUT WE ARE STILL TRYING TO LOCATE THEM. WITH LEE NOW FACING A MURDER CHARGE, INVESTIGATORS SAY THEY’LL HAVE ACCESS TO MORE RESOURCES TO TRACK HIM DOWN. WE HAVE THE LEGAL AUTHORITY, AND WE CAN WORK WITH OUR FEDERAL PARTNERS TO LOOK AROUND SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, LOOK INTO MEXICO AND THINGS LIKE THAT. STILL, THE FOCUS IS BRINGING THE KIDS BACK HOME. CAMERON, IF YOU’RE WATCHING THIS, I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU TURN YOURSELF IN. WE’RE NOT GOING TO STOP. I REALLY WANT EVERYBODY TO KEEP THEIR EYES OUT. DON’T STOP LOOKING FOR THEM. IT’S BEEN A VERY DIFFICULT TIME FOR THIS FAMILY. AND POLICE TELL US THAT LEE ALSO HAS AN OUTSTANDING, OUTSTANDING ARREST WARRANT FOR UNRELATED GUN CHARGES. AND THEY ASK ANYONE WITH INFORMATION TO REACH OUT TO THEM IMMEDIATELY. LIVE IN SACRAMENTO. CATALINA ESTRADA KCRA THREE NEWS. SO THIS BODY WAS FOUND WAY BACK IN JULY. WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG FOR POLICE TO PURSUE THESE CHARGES AGAINST LEE? CURTIS? WELL, THIS HAD TO DO WITH THE SACRAMENTO COUNTY CORONER’S OFFICE LISTING HER DEATH AS UNDETERMINED. IN THEIR AUTOPSY REPORT, THEY STATE THAT BRAVO MAY HAVE BEEN THE VICTIM OF HOMICIDAL VIOLENCE, BUT THEY WEREN’T ABLE TO DETERMINE A CAUSE. AND IT WAS ONLY DUE TO THIS NEW INFORMATION FOUND BY DETECTIVES THAT THEY WERE EVEN ABLE TO CONSIDER LEE AS A SUSPECT. WE DID REACH OUT TO THE CORONER’S OFFICE AND ASKED WHY HER DEATH IS STILL UNDETERMINED, AND WE’RE STILL WAITING TO HEAR
