Two people were killed when a vehicle crashed into a tree and caught fire in the Glassell Park area of Los Angeles, authorities said Friday.
The crash occurred at 11:06 p.m. Thursday at 3426 N. Eagle Rock Blvd. at West Avenue 34, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
“Single vehicle into a tree, well involved in fire upon LAFD arrival,” Stewart said.
Two people died at the scene, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman told City News Service. Their names, ages and genders were not available.
