FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — One person was killed by an Amtrak train near Christmas Tree Lane in Fresno.
Amtrak Police say Amtrak train 712 was traveling Southbound from Oakland to Bakersfield around 2 PM on Thursday, Dec. 25th.
The train collided with a person at Shields and Wishon Ave. near the entrance of Christmas Tree Lane.
The crossing is equipped with gates, lights, and bells.
