A 15-year-old riding an e-bike was seriously injured Saturday afternoon after colliding with a vehicle.
Officers responded to the collision at 3 p.m. at Friant and Audubon Drive, near Woodward Park and found the boy lying in the road.
Officers rendered aid and the teen was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, listed in critical condition.
Witnesses told officers the teen was with several friends going west on Audubon approaching Friant in the road. The juvenile started swerving, attempted to cross traffic and pulled in front of a vehicle. The juvenile was then struck by the vehicle, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
