Areas of dense fog are developing again Sunday morning and with lighter winds, it may be slower to clear than yesterday. Because of that, temperatures will be noticeably cooler with afternoon highs in the Valley ranging from the upper 40s to low 50s. Mid and upper 40s are forecast for the Foothills and Sierra highs will be in the upper 30s. Areas of fog will likely be present again on Monday and Tuesday morning, keeping temperatures below normal. There is a lot of uncertainty with the models regarding wet weather on New Years Eve and New Years Day. Some have rain moving in Wednesday evening and continuing through the end of the week… some have the system stalling and arriving closer to Friday.
