The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped four-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.452.

The average price is 1.4 cents less than one week ago and 27.7 cents less than one month ago, but 4.8 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.042 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped two-tenths of a cent to $4.335. It is 2.2 cents less than one week ago, 31.7 cents less than one month ago, and a half-cent less than one year ago. It has dropped $2.124 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped eight-tenths of a cent to $2.828. It is 3 cents less than one week ago, 19.4 cents less than one month ago and 19.8 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $2.188 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
