A man suspected of intentionally crashing a vehicle into a home in Clairemont on Monday morning, killing a woman inside the house, was arrested in a case that is now being investigated as a homicide.
San Diego Police Department Officer Paige Foster said a call came in at 7:38 a.m. Monday about an incident at 4312 Dakota Drive.
“Numerous neighbors reported a traffic accident, a vehicle driving into a house,” Foster said.
“When officers got there, they found a woman who was deceased inside the home.”
Foster said an unidentified man was taken into custody.
There are no further details. No other injuries were reported.
