The California Highway Patrol will conduct a holiday enforcement period from New Year’s Eve to New Year’s Day.It will begin at 6 p.m. on Dec. 31 and conclude at 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 1. This is a statewide effort.CHP is reminding drivers to follow traffic laws and not drive while impaired.
