TRAVELERS WITH SUITCASES IN HAND MAKE THEIR WAY TO TSA. THE ORIGINAL FLIGHT WAS YESTERDAY AT ABOUT 124. I GOT DELAYED AT ABOUT NOON AND THEN THEY ENDED UP CANCELING IT TO MINNEAPOLIS. SO THEY HAD THE OFFER TO RESCHEDULE FOR A 10:00 FLIGHT OR 7 A.M. FLIGHT. LUCKILY, THE LONG HOLIDAY LINES SOME WERE EXPECTING WERE MUCH SHORTER TODAY. IT SEEMS PRETTY NORMAL THIS YEAR. HONESTLY, I’M KIND OF JUST SURPRISED YOU KNOW, THAT THERE AREN’T MORE PEOPLE, HONESTLY. BUT I ASSUME IT’S GOING TO KICK UP A LITTLE BIT MORE BEFORE, LIKE THE DAY BEFORE NEW YEAR’S AND THAT KIND OF STUFF. BUT YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THEY MIGHT GROW AGAIN. INSANELY BUSY. THE LINES HAVE BEEN FLUCTUATING AT THE AIRPORT ALL DAY LONG, WITH SOME REALLY LONG ONES, SOME REALLY SHORT ONES. AND THEN, JUST LIKE RIGHT NOW, NOT REALLY ANYONE IN LINE, BUT THEY DO WANT TO REMIND PEOPLE TO MAKE SURE TO STILL COME TO YOUR FLIGHT EARLY SO THAT YOU CAN MAKE THAT FLIGHT ON TIME.

Sacramento International Airport experienced fluctuating lines on Monday as travelers navigated the holiday season, with some finding shorter waits than expected.Tabby Strickland, who was traveling after a flight cancellation, said, “The original flight was yesterday at about 1:24. I got delayed at about noon and then ended up canceling it to Minneapolis so they had to offer to reschedule for a 10 p.m. flight or a 7 a.m. flight.”Sophia Matulich, traveling for the holidays, noted, “It seems pretty normal this year, honestly. I’m kind of just surprised you know that there aren’t more people honestly but I assume it’s going to kick up a little bit more before like the day before New Year’s.”Kari Malone, a custodian at the airport, described the scene as hectic. Kyle Lake, traveling for New Year’s, shared his plans in Nashville, Tennessee. “So we’re going to the New Year’s big bash there they got a bunch of different stars and like Riley Green and Jason Aldean stuff like that,” he said.
