Connor Clattenburg is back, just not with the Oilers. Edmonton activated Clattenburg from long-term injured reserve (eye) and sent him to its AHL affiliate Bakersfield Condors, the team announced on Monday. Clattenburg has not played since Dec. 4 against Seattle. The Ottawa native has played five games in his first NHL season, scoring one goal with no assists and 13 penalty minutes for the Oilers.
