The weekend begin with more pleasantly cool temperatures which climb to near normal values this afternoon with sunshine and lightly winds. Valley highs will reach the upper 70s to around 80 degrees this afternoon, the Foothills will see highs in the mid 70s and low 70s are forecast for the Sierra. Similar conditions are forecast for Sunday, perfect for the Ironman race. Sunny and seasonable conditions are expected for Monday and Tuesday as well. Low pressure passing through on Wednesday will bring a few more clouds and a cooling trend. Afternoon highs in the Valley are expected to be in the low 70s by Friday.
