BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The McFarland Police Department said there will be increased patrols on New Year’s Eve with officers actively looking for drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs to help keep roads safe.
McFarland police said in a social media post, “Driving under the influence puts your life and the lives of others at serious risk. Impaired driving crashes are preventable, and no celebration is worth a life.”
