Revelers gathered aboard the Queen Mary on New Year’s Eve for a masquerade celebration — that culminated in a fireworks show.
The event featured live music, casino games, roaming entertainers and more as each deck of the historic ship was transformed into its own immersive experience.

“We are excited to offer our guests a memorable night aboard, filled with incredible entertainment, grand experiences and more,” Steve Caloca, managing director of the Queen Mary, said in a statement ahead of the Wednesday night, Dec. 31, event. “This year is especially momentous, as the ship will present its first Masquerade Ball in over a decade. Our guests can expect a night where history, elegance and celebration come together for an unforgettable night with our entire ship activated.”
Despite the rainy weather, meanwhile, the highlight of the night was a 15-minute fireworks spectacular as guests toasted to 2026 from the deck of the iconic ship. The fireworks were seen along Long Beach’s coastline as well.
Guests donned their masquerade masks, sipped champagne, danced into the night and wandered from salon to salon — celebrating until the early hours of 2026.
