Bakersfield Memorial Hospital welcomes New Year’s baby born three seconds after midnight

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield Memorial Hospital welcomes a New Year’s baby born three seconds after the clock struck midnight.

Alyssa and Lionel Araujo welcomed the arrival of their daughter, Eliana Araujo, born at 12:00:03 a.m.

Baby girl weighed at 6 lbs 11 oz and measured 19.5″ long.

In a post, Bakersfield Memorial Hospital said, “This precious girl is the couple’s first child, and we couldn’t be happier for them!”
