The Heat secured a road win in Detroit, where Norman Powell put in a stellar performance to stun the Eastern Conference leaders. Houston also won in Brooklyn, and Philadelphia advanced in Dallas thanks to an increasingly dominant performance from Tyrese Maxey.
The Celtics also won at the Sacramento Kings without much difficulty, while the phenomenon Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers to their sixth consecutive victory.
