INGLEWOOD — The junior division Twentynine Palms youth football Warhawks got the chance to practice on a National Football League field.
The Warhawks traveled to Los Angeles County to scrimmage against the Barstow Aztecs at SoFi Stadium Saturday, Dec. 27.
“It was a great experience for our junior team, and the players had an excellent time,” McArthur Wright said.
The stadium hosts home games for the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers.
“We were also able to stay and watch the Los Angeles Chargers take on the Houston Texans, which made the day even more memorable for the kids,” Wright said.
“The scrimmage went very well and was a great experience for our kids. We were invited by the Barstow Aztecs, who have hosted this as an annual event for the past two years. This year, they extended the invitation to our program, and we plan to participate again next year.”
