Oakland remained undefeated with a 56-0 region win at La Vergne Friday night.
The Patriots improved to 8-0 overall and 5-0 in Region 3-6A play, while La Vergne remains winless.
Oakland jumped out to a 35-0 lead in the first quarter, which led to a running clock the remainder of the game.
The Patriots had 250 yards in total offense and also scored two defensive touchdowns and one on special teams’ TD.
Senior Kemani Bass rushed for a team-high 65 yards and a score, Justis Haggard rushed for two TDs and Kam Morton rushed for another. I
Chevy Armour had a 13-yard interception return for six and scored on a 12-yard blocked punt return.
Jakobi Miller had an interception for La Vergne, which plays at Smyrna Friday. Oakland host Stewarts Creek.
Eagleville 44, Huntland 7
The Eagles dominated the host Hornets in a key Region 5-1A victory.
Eagleville improved to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in region play while Huntland dropped to 5-3 and 2-2.
Offensively, Jonathan Jordan had 18 carries for 136 yards for Eagleville, Benton Fox threw for 159 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for two more, and Kason Puffer had 107 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
Defensively, Grant Cooper had six tackles and Jordan had four.
The Eagles play at Zion Christian Friday.
Rockvale 39, Tullahoma 38 (OT)
The Rockets scored second in overtime and went for two, and it was successful on a pass to Dallas Pauldo in the one-point non-region victory.
Rockvale is 4-4 overall and 3-2 in region play going into Friday’s matchup home against Riverdale.
Pauldo had over 100 yards receiving and a touchdown and quarterback Jonathan Hamby threw for over 300 yards.
Stewarts Creek 49, Knoxville-Webb 26
Sam Bello scored four touchdowns and gained over 150 yards in the Red Hawks’ (4-4, 1-4) non-region win.
Jayden McKnight went over the 200-yard rushing mark and scored two touchdowns for the Red Hawks, who travel to Oakland Friday.
* PCA defeated Providence Academy 49-14 at home to improve to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in Division II-East region play.
MTCS (5-2, 3-0) defeated Tipton-Rosemark 35-28 on the road.
