REDDING, Calif. — Redding police confirmed a person was found deceased Friday afternoon near a creek in the area of California Street and Sonoma Street.
Officers responded to the area after emergency responders were dispatched for a medical call. Police later confirmed the body was discovered at the scene.
The person’s identity has not been released. Police did not provide details about the cause of death or whether foul play is suspected.
