BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County Public Works announced the closure of two roads due to flooding and debris.

Hermosa Road, from Highway 184 to Malaga Road, was closed on Jan. 3 at 5 p.m. due to flooding, with the closure extended to Malaga Road.

Additionally, Western Minerals Road, from Short Road to the Maricopa city limits, was closed on Jan. 5 at 8:30 a.m. due to storm debris and flooding.
