BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The City of Bakersfield’s Water Department is hosting several meetings for the community to learn more about proposed sewer rate increases that the City Council will soon consider.
The first meeting will be held on Thursday, January 8th, at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in City Hall South, located at 1501 Truxtun Avenue.
Members of the public are invited to attend to learn more about the potential rate options, ask questions, and provide feedback.
Three additional meetings will be held the following week:
Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 6 p.m. at Southwest Library, located at 8301 Ming AvenueWednesday, Jan. 14, at 6 p.m. at Ridgeview High School, located at 8501 Stine RoadThursday, Jan. 15, at 6 p.m. at South High School, located at 1101 Planz Road
