According to the release, winter months often see a decline in blood donations due to the hectic holiday schedules that many people have, illnesses and weather changes. But hospitals across Central California continue to depend on CCBC for lifesaving blood for trauma patients, surgeries, cancer care, premature infants and others in urgent need.
