GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – North Central Florida Congresswoman Kat Cammack is remembering a colleague and friend who died on Monday.
Cammack shared photos of her and California Republican Doug LaMalfa.
She says LaMalfa loved drag racing and was a big fan of Don Garlits, who lives in Ocala.

Cammack says the congressman was also a farmer, and would send her videos from his tractor.
GOP leaders announced LaMalfa’s death on Tuesday after he died during emergency surgery.
