He is a resident of Jefferson City and originally from Richmond. He graduated from Truman State University in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in communication. Josh worked as a sports broadcaster and writer during his time in college. He also worked as a marketing intern for the Kansas City Comets indoor soccer team. Josh began his career with the Democrat in June 2025.
