FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A man was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Fresno on Monday.
Police received a report that a man crossing the street was hit by a car around Belmont and Van Ness Avenue just before 4:30 p.m.
According to the investigation, a black sedan was traveling down Belmont while a man was crossing the road, hitting the man and continuing to drive.
Police say that the man was not in a crosswalk.

The man was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and was reported to be in stable condition.
